The most recent salary data from the BLS shows the average annual physical therapy assistant salary to be: $67,160 (hourly pay: $32.29). While a physical therapist assistant salary of $58,240 was attributed to the bottom 25% of PTA wage earners and $87,630 to the top 10% of salaried PTAs.
